Who is SpaceOpera.com?
Eric Newport — founder
Eric Newport is the founding editor-in-chief of SpaceOpera.com. Originally launched in 2004 as a subsection of his personal website kethinov.com, the readership of the episode guides and critical reviews grew to such an extent that it warranted separating into a dedicated publication which relaunched as SpaceOpera.com on the site's 20th anniversary in 2024.

Troy Coutu — editor
Longtime reader and fan of the original site, Troy has since grown into a valued contributor, providing assistance with both content editing and site programming.
